About HCUaa College Credit

Hi!

My name is India Horton and I’m your Director here at HCU. This journey began with my daughter. When she was in the 4th grade she couldn't BELIEVE the fact that she had to complete each subject each year for the next 9 years. 

She asked what she had to do to NOT have to do this every year. I was like... I dont know!?! LOL Ya got to go get college credit.

She said THAT, thats what I want to do. 

The conversation then went something like this....

Me:  You can't, you're too young.

Kid: WHY? Why am I too young?

Me: It's just the way it is, dual enrollment doesn't start until the 11th grade.

Kid: Please find something else cause I do NOT wanna do this every year. Google it

Me: uuumm.. you Google it, I'm over here still trying to wrap my head around The Good & The Beautiful. 

Well.. she googled it and found several examples of young college students. 

After spending countless hours researching, attending conferences, and scheduling sessions for over a year, I was finally ready to pull the trigger.

Here we are 5 years later and I have been consulting others the past 4 years.

She is now 14 years old graduating High school AND college this spring, and I couldn’t be happier for her.

Our College Credit mission is to offer supoprt to those looking to obtain college credit, at any age, complete self-paced courses accepted by regionally accredited universities, obtain very little to no debt, pay as you go, and receive college credits for pennies on the dollars.

It’s great as a homeschooling option to satisfy your high school requirements, grab a few college credits, or even obtain an associates or bachlors degree while in high school.

Anything over 30 minutes is $30 per 1/2 hour.
